Time Code Converter - Interface

Masterclock® time code converters and interface provides:

Conversions between time code formats
RS-232 @ 9600 baud output
Parallel BCD output - both second and millisecond
Insertion of time zone offsets
Insertion of daylight savings time
Programmable relay closure (once per -min, hour, day)
Programmable TTL pulse (once per -sec, min, hour day)
Frame rate pulse linked to time code format
Heathkit - "Accurate Clock" RS-232 protocol @ 300 baud output

TIME CODE CONVERSION CHART

The TCI-500 converts to & from (between) the following time code formats. (See the instruction manual under downloadable files for limitations & detailed specifications).

Note: The drop frame time code that is generated by the TCI500 cannot be synchronized to Blackburst and should not be used in critical timing applications. The drop frame time code generated by the TCI500 is non-frame compensated and is jamsynced to real time only once in each 24 hour time period at 1am.
