TCG100 Time Code Generator

The TCG100 is a time code generator plug-in card for ISA bus, IBM-PC's and compatibles. The software provided with the card facilitates robust manual control of time code generation for a variety of test and simulation purposes.

FEATURES

	Generates 24, 25 & 30 fps SMPTE -or- IRIG-B (1 kHz modulated)
	Includes control software for DOS, Win 3.X / 95 & NT/2000
	Generates time code in four different modes
	Software interface documentation is available
	Interrupts 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15 are selectable with on-board jumpers
	Port Address 300h, 310h, 320h and 330h are selectable with on-board jumpers
	Output levels are 2 Volt PP for SMPTE and 5 Volt PP for IRIG-B.
	Output connector is DB-15 female - a BNC to DB-15 adapter is provided
	IEEE1344 date information can be inserted using API calls This capability is not available with the regular software supplied with the card.

PHYSICAL

	1/3 slot ISA bus card works as a standalone unit.
	Contains its own CPU and only requires DC power from the PC.

TCGSYNC-NT - Synchronization Software

Optional software is available that allows the TCG100 to set to and maintain synchronization with a PC or server clock.  This allows the TCG100 to be used as an accurate source of time code when the PC clock can be synchronized (via NTP, modem or other means) to an external accurate time source. This software works only under Windows NT.  Part number is TCGSYNC-NT.
